The rise of women-only gyms is no joke.

For a woman, I’m pretty athletic, and I work out often as a hobby.

A few days ago, a friend who is taking Mounjaro asked me to teach her how to work out, so I took her to the gym for the first time.

Even simple movements and postures are difficult for average women who don’t work out.

??? 😓

I was fucking bewildered by this.

But this made me think...
The women’s fitness business in particular is likely to grow even more going forward.
What’s the point of taking Mounjaro or Wegovy... In the end, it all comes back around to working out and getting personal training.

So lately, when I have spare time, I’ve been visiting women-only gyms and talking with people to see how they operate,
and gyms are short on female trainers.

If you look at Spodream, a sports-industry community,
there are tons of job postings giving preference to female trainers.

The largest chain among women-only gyms is “Fitness People Woman,” and it’s interesting to see its annual revenue keep growing lol.
Over the past 3 years, its revenue has roughly doubled, and its operating margin is also 27%.

Women don’t work out or get personal training because they want to build excessive muscle.
They go because they want to create a moderately attractive body.
And importantly, they also need to feel comfortable with their trainer, which is why the preference for female trainers is really high.

These days, when I have time, I’ve been studying for the Level 2 Sports Instructor certification.
